Naked Thought was born in Cincinnati, OH, grew up in South Central Los Angeles, moving to Texas at the age 13, she completed high school and attended college there. Naked Thought graduated with honors from Prairie View A&M University with degrees in English and Mathematics. She relocated back to Los Angeles three years ago.

A self-styled ‘word ho’. Naked Thought impetus for her poetry is healing, transformation and evolution. Witty, cerebral, raw, and lyrical she invites all to witness the commonality of human experience. Dedicated to constantly honing and expanding her craft, for Naked Thought poetry is her Bliss. 

When Naked Thought isn’t writing poetry, she is the Director of Sales and Marketing for the luxury apparel company, Mooniez, Inc. Where her mission is “Unleashing Irresistible Sensuality” and is completing the raising of the first one million to launch her design company while creating and crafting her ideal reality. She is currently completing her first collection of poetry and spoken word CD.
